Irwin Allen - A True Legend

In my opinion, Irwin Allen was one of the greatest Cinematic legends, if not THE greatest! Irwin took a genre that he felt very strong about and re-created it for a whole new generation. I mean, The Poseidon Adventure was released in 1972 and it is my favorite film of all time and I'm 17! So his films still have an impact. Even some of Irwin Allens later work, The Swarm And Beyond The Poseidon Adventure, which are greatly unappriciated in my opinion, still have an impact today. Living In The UK, Most of his films are shown every Christmas and me and my family always sit down and watch his movies. Now I don't know if Irwin Allen has a star on the Hollywood walk of fame, but if not, Why Not?? Someone who gave so much viewing pleasure to so many people, including myself who is collecting his movies one by one, deserves that star.
