An unknown gem

This movie is a *beep* classic. never a VHS or DVD? What a crying shame! Fans of stuff like The In-Laws would love this. Does anyone know of any other crazy 60s/70s like this one or The In-Laws? I wish I could find more like this. I also loved "Where's Poppa?" from the same writer who did Fire Sale.

Beats me, but i do agree about "Where's Poppa?"
and "The In-Laws" (1979) about being in the
same genre.

It is a classic gem-one day, just as it took Bringing Up Baby 30 plus years to be recognized as a classic film, so shall this be-thus far, it's been 35 years, i predict it is classic=there you go.

The low rating for Fire Sale is a traveshamockery.

Long before there was "Weekend at Bernie's", there was Ezra propping up his dead/nearly-dead father for an insurance interview.

"Here, Benny, have your fruit juice." (as Ruth obliviously pours Benny's morning juice on his face)

Russel precariously hanging out of the car after attempting to hug his mother, while his father drives away anyway.

Giving a one-legged, demented Uncle Sherman a roller skate (one, not a pair, one) as a present.

Policeman: "Okay, where's the fire?"
Russel: "HOW DID YOU KNOW?!!!"

I thought my father was going to die watching this, he was laughing so hard. This was comedy gold.
