In the first beginning of The movie Buford (Bo Svenson) remembering the ambush that killed his wife. One year has passed, and Buford still has a hard time dealing with it.

I don't know but one thing I couldn't figure out when watching the first movie, any time that you turn a real story into a movie they always make the leading woman much prettier than she is in real life. They didn't do that with Pauline Pusser, she was more beautiful in real life than she was portrayed as being in the movie and I don't get why they did that.
shareThe original wasn't exactly a big-budget film. They went with a talented actress, who did an excellent job. I suspect they wanted someone who had an average look for audiences to identify with.

shareIt was merely a flashback scene, and she was most likely an uncredited extra. Hartman wouldn't have returned for a scene like that, although if the movie were being made today they might have simply used archive footage. Remember only B Glover and actor who played John Witter were the only main cast members in all 3 installments.
