um, have you ever heard of a movie not to be taken seriously? A B monster movie, not made to be taken seriously? YOu people are like insane. This is a fun crappy 70's movie that was made for entertainment. DAH it is laughable, its about ants.

If you want to see a somewhat freaky movie with a ending that has the ants somewhat coming out on top, see Phase IV.

Enpire is for those who love drive-in flicks in general.

And of course "Arachnophobia" or "Eight Legged Freaks," which is surprisingly good – something "Empire of the Ants" most definitely is not.

Phase IV is a good ant movie, with normal size ants getting super smart.

I love this movie. I've seen it at least 5 or 6 times and it never gets old.
