Am I Missing Something? What Happened To The Old Couple?

Did they just not want to do a death scene or something, with the mechanical ants and fake blood all over them?

It seemed obvious they were going to die, not really necessary to show all the deaths.

Well that an old couple, but that wasn't Irene Tedrow and Harry Holcombe as Velma and Harry Thompson.

I guess they bought the farm out at the shack.

There were TWO old Couples.
