The most underrated Christmas classic?

It really surprised me to find a lot of people don't know about this movie. I'd say it's much better than Frosty, which I don't feel holds up very well at all.

I loved all these muppety movies. I remember one where it was all talking toys...pretty much Toy Story before Toy Story...there was a Barbie in a house I think. The never play it so I don't remember. I wish they would play or release more of them.

This movie is great. I always get emotional at the end when it's revealed about how Emmet and his mother got each other's presents. It's such a sweet story.

I think it choked me up as a kid, but it still does.

You're absolutely right. It's a true Christmas classic. Got it on DVD so we can watch every year. A wonderful story and so many catchy songs by Paul Williams.

Is it something that is culturally popular in your area?

reply

Not really. I think the first time I ever saw it was on HBO and I never forgot it.
