Fritz the cat is the easter bunny
I find it amusing that Skip Hinnant, who played Fritz the Cat in the first X rated cartoon ever made plays the easter bunny in this. Just thought I'd mention that.

As well as he became a regular on Electric Company soon after and taught millions of children, including this one, how to read.
Generally something like Fritz the Cat, today completely forgotten, was sold more on it's shock value, as is generally the case with something like that. Likewise, media coverage probably amounted to nothing more than the belief Fritz would set the standard for how Disney cartoons would be 'in the future'.
Does any cartoon after Fritz give any hint of Fritz' influence? Nope.
Otherwise, the cartoon is nothing but a boring piece of rubbish and hardly as enjoyable to watch as the suggestive innuendo in the Bugs Bunny cartoons.
