Question about the lack of music
Although Gunner Pederson is credited with original music there is very little music in the movie. Was this the choice of the composer Pederson or perhaps the director Nils Malmros?
shareAs I heard from Malmros during the Q&A after the screening of the movie at Rotterdam Film Festival, he intended to create a silent atmosphere; and he even had the film dubbed to reduce the natural noise during the filming.
