The film's director, Larry Cohen, is the brother of Ronnie Chasen, the famous publicist who was murdered in Beverly Hills, California in November 2010, while heading home from a Hollywood premiere of the movie "The Hurt Locker". Apparently there is a conspiracy theory surrounding her murder.
share3 years later... by some creeeepy coincidence I began to watch this movie on TCM tonight, 12/27/15 around 2 AM, RIGHT after watching a forensic shoe on Ronni Chasen! She was returning from the "Burlesque" galapremier actually.
Weirdly creepy film. I enjoyed it though.
I enjoyed it up until the last 10 minutes. And then it just got REALLY weird.
