Does anyone know who the narrator at the beginning of the film is?

The voice belongs to John Dehner,busy TV actor on "ELLERY QUEEN," "KOLCHAK:THE NIGHT STALKER"(episode 18 "The Knightly Murders")and feature films like "The Boys from Brazil"(1978),where he is murdered by Gregory Peck during the climactic Pennsylvania scenes.
