I don't know about you but...

I just love these old movies, i was born in 1992 and I don't know why but that poor sound and video quality... and this... "heart" they had back then... I don't know I have the feeling that movie makers lost what was good in old movies, now they only concentrate on the CGI's. (except for Transformers which was freaking awesome), I mean... just look at alien or star wars... I saw Damnation Alley for the first time yesterday on Z-télé in French and... that sound quality and that good plot and that unrealistic guy-being-eating-by-bugs scene are kinda soothing, don't you think?

Amen, my brother, as they say.

I've had this for ages on a VHS somewhere, and I was saddened to realize that someone threw the cassettes out. Thank the gods for the Internet, though. I watched it again after some 10-15 years, and it's still as good as it was back then. Yeah, "heart" is what makes all the difference.
