My best mate just got eaten by cockroaches...but I'm still cheerful

One thing that really annoyed me about this film was the way tanner not only shows no emotion for his late friend....but spends the rest of the film acting cheerful. If my only mate perished the way poor keegan did, I would be pretty depressed. But the poor guy gets no mention whatsoever. Even Perry got some sympathy when he died...and his death was much cleaner.

I heard a rumour that they filmed a scene where tanner blames Denton over not saving keegan and they both have a fight. But if so, why they didn't keep it baffles me. This film has many problems....but to me that one stands out the most.

Personnel??....thats for a**holes

Denton was a selfish bastard. Everything was about him with no regard for the others. Peppard was perfect in the role.

You are correct ...they did cut out a scene where Tanner confronts Denton for not doing enough to save his friend ... Tanner throws Denton to the ground and grabs a chunk of cement that was resting on the landmaster (after they went through the wall of the parking garage) ... Tanner then raises it above his head, and Denton pulls a gun on him with the girl looking on in horror ...

No idea what was said but there's a Spanish lobby card that depicts the scene ?

Too bad they didn't keep a scene like this and cut out some of the sillyness that existed elsewhere in this film ..
