Roger Deakins's first feature as cinematographer. . .

Haven't seen it yet. Is there a good DVD of it? Anybody know?

Love Deakins's work. Would be interested in seeing all his early documentary work as well.

Yes, there is currently a nice dvd for "Justine" both for region 1 and region 2. good widescreen print, good film that remains faithful to the writings of Sade.

If you're not already aware, an excellent Blu Ray was released last year from Kino/Redemption films. The film is in its original aspect ratio and is not digitally manipulated in any way. The opening and ending are grungy looking (as no clean up was performed) but the majority of the film looks lovely.
