I liked this too. At first I thought it would be stupid, but I was wrong. I really enjoyed it. Well worth the $6 I paid.

It's campy, but a better B movie than the ones coming out now. The "lets tidy up quick" ending was pretty funny.

Love the monster, and it actually had some pretty good cinematography. The scenery is great, I bet that lake is littered with expensive houses now
sharea bad Saturday matinee movie! I spent a lovely week end on Palomar mountain being an extra in it, look for the screaming girl in a red tank top. I don't see Mr. Sasways name in the credits. He was a drama teacher at Mira Costa Jr.College. He also had a beautiful cabin there. Don't remember what part he played. I'm laughing that this movie has an IMBD page! I did see it kind -a? I went to a double drive in theater, it was showing on one side and I went to the side showing Tommy, I think. I couldn't help but peek! Still laughing.

It was OK. Not the best movie I've ever seen but not the worst either. I usually don't like remakes but I think this could actually benefit from one.
