Opinions on Quincey P. Holmwood

I thought he was supposed to live, because they'd have given him Quincy's death scene from the book if they'd intended otherwise. Also, the character is a conflation of Arthur and Quincy, but in most respects he's more Arthur than Quincy, and given the weakness of the actor's American accent I'd prefer they'd just called him Arthur and lost Quincy altogether. No offense to Quincy Morris, I just think he needs to be done well or not at all.
