choirboys should have been a mini series

i must agree that the film did not do the book justice but could he have read the book in 119 minutes.it was an excellent effort in the time given to do justice to wambaughs book by robert aldrich.i do feel that a mini series would have done it more justice as in the rich man poor man vein.possibly introducing extra charachters and situations if the book could not carry a mini series but done in the same vein.it has certainly influenced umpteen american police films and series.it is not to late to make a mini series or pilot for a tv series.

Whatever else one thinks of this movie, it is worth seeing if only to lay eyes on the lovely Phyllis Davis playing the stripper Foxy Ferrell.

The film was seen as the forerunner for Hill Street blues
