Bunuel quit harming animals and rampant rage against church

It's good to see that Bunuel - at least in old age, decided to quit murdering animals for his films and decided to use puppets (caught mice scene)

also, if compared to his previous film work, there is more subtle way how he deals with church, it's more grown up and humain. I wonder if he could live forever, his later movies would be accepted by contemporary church as a constructive criticism
