What an annoying bitch

Am I right?

I liked her better than Mathieu, that's for sure. He was a violent, self-entitled douchebag. I'm convinced that if the film ran for any longer he would've sprouted a fedora and neckbeard.

Both characters (and they're barely that, and certainly not people) are miles less loathsome than anyone on this message board.

They both acted horribly and deserved each other. He tried to coerce his way into a disadvantaged teenager's pants and got her deported (!) when he was fed up.

Yep. Though don't make it too easy for yourself. I for one enjoy the movie, whenever I watch it, to cast a coin before, if I will try to take sides with him or with her. And in the end, in any case, I would strongly get shivers if were ever to have to do anything with either of them. Both are pretty much at equal levels of being bitches. At least, if that term is considered gender neutral.
I agree, at first sight it might look like her being the bitch, but that's more of a result of socialization, since most of us have acquired a notion of men rather being rejected by women than the other way round.
And this movie is not about rejection, really. Though it may look like that. The 'obscure desire' exists on both ends.
