This movie scared the crap out of me when I was a kid

True story

"Your mother's in here with us, Karras. Would you like to leave a message?"

Me too! I was also very sad when Kathleen Lloyd [spoiler alert!] arrived home and the car was on its way to get its revenge. Even as a little kid, I knew it was only a movie, but I was like "NOT Kathleen Lloyd!" :(

Me too, and yet I was spellbound by it at the same time.

iwanna know, me too. At that time, I had Saturdays and Sundays off. I saw "The Car" 4 Saturdays in a row till it left that theater. Now I have the DVD, but haven't watched it for a few years. Time for another viewing.

You were scared by this awful movie?

reply

I was scared as well. Just rewatched it. It's still pretty creepy.

Hey, things scare you differently when you're a kid. I first saw The Relic when I was a kid and it scared the crap out of me. Then I saw it again years later and was like: "I was scared by this? Aww, I suck."
