Remake?

Just watched this the other day and was wondering if anyone knows whether or not Disney is planning to do a remake. I for one would like to see it remade and possibly updated. Disney has done it before with several of their other movies and it would be so nice to see an updated version of Candleshoe.

I'd love to see Depp playing Priory. I'd have loved for Lohan to play Casey back when she was fresh from playing annabell in freaky friday but not now. Not sure who you would get to play her now.

I wanted them to remake it 10 years ago using some of the less-featured kids from the Harry Potter movies.
