There are many scenes in this lively film that I am quite fond of. For example, the scene where the locomotive stops just short of the vehicle and the ensuing relief shown on Priory and Lady St.Edmund's faces. I also love the disguises, false accents and voices Priory feigned. On a serious note, I found the dance scene between Priory and Lady St.Edmund quite poignant and sweet. Even though Candleshoe was threatened with closure, they both remained optimistic and continued cherishing, reliving, and remembering old memories of the residence. Even the music they waltzed to was appropriately bittersweet and nostalgic. These were two lonely, innocent, and loving souls.
