I fell in love with Jodie in this movie

I remember my dad taking me to see this movie way back in 1977 when I was just six. I think it was the first time I'd ever been into a cinema. I fell TOTALLY head over heels in love with Jodie, and I've been ga-ga ever since. But you can't get it here in the UK, or on Region 2 DVD at all so far as I know. What's all that about? It's a CLASSIC!

It's a bit healthier to fall in love with Jodie in this movie than in Taxi Driver. I mean, that lead to someone trying to shoot Reagan.

This is also the first movie that I saw where Jodie made an impression on me. Love might be too strong of a word, more like infatuation for me.

I remember watching this movie a lot when I was a kid.

I had a girly crush on her because of this movie! She was so hott and awesome! I thought she looked like she could kick your ass too! I was so young!

Was I born a cute, vindictive little bitch? Or did society make me that way?

Man, I was totally head over heels too. I would have been about seven then, and my crushes were Lindsay Wagner and Jodie Foster. That says something, that she could compete with the Bionic Woman at such a young age. "Greensleeves" still gets me all emotional.

I do remember after seeing this that a girl at my school looked like Jodie. Except that I'm pretty sure I really thought it was her; I've never been the sharpest tool in the box

I guess I'm the only one who found her annoying. I didn't like her acting at all. And to me she actually looked like a boy, I at first (not knowing what the movie is gonna be about and that Jodie Foster was gonna be in it) confused her with a boy.

I did like Helen Hayes and David Niven though.

I didn't fall in love; but, I had been enjoying Jodie Foster's work since The Courtship of Eddie's father; as well as the short-lived Paper Moon tv series.

Fortunately, Ah keep mah feathers numbered for just such an emergency!

I loved her in this film. The whole cast are terrific.
