Not the most in depth but very good to watch

This used to be part of The Bruce Lee collection of VHS videos here in the UK which I owned in the 90's and managed to get a download of it last night.

I hadn't seen it in about 20 years and watching it again it's really quite a good documentary. It has some interesting features and the good part is that it's never boring plus it has quite a lot of polish (for 1984 that is) compared to other docs on Bruce.

Of course being a Golden Harvest production it's a shameless opportunity to shoehorn in footage from some of their other films as an advertisement but to be generous it does use them with reference to Bruce as more of a description of some of his techniques.

Another thing I liked is that some of the footage has been re-dubbed with 80's martial arts sound effects and some of Bruce's real screams have been put into clips of the Big Boss and others along with some really nice music. The narrator is also excellent and charismatic and it's very pleasant to listen to the story.

There are other documentaries like Death By Misadventure which are very in depth but not quite as polished but this is a great place to start if you are interested in the life of Bruce Lee.
