Chuck Norris cannot act to save himelf from Hillbillys'

Sorry, but the whole 70's Blonde hair, with hairspray doesn;t help the Chuck Norris Karate image. He cannot act .lets be honest. One dimensional"acting" but the whole premise. Redneck moonshiners, Hillbilly corupt cops, wanna be disco, karate men trying to do something?? It just doesn;t work. It was a crappy movie in the 70's and it tried to rip off the fame from the Smokey and the Bandit movies which I also hated. Same stupid story, Hillbilly, truckeers are trying to save something or someone. I can't watch this movie any longer on my cable channel I have to bail. before I get ill.

AS a huge Chuck Noris fan, I've seen Breaker! Breaker! at least three times and I could watch and enjoy it anyday!

Maybe this was his first acting role. but he looked silly with that blonde hair, trying to fight with Rednecks in a bar.You have to admit the premise was silly, HIllbilly moonshiners are fighting somebody and corrupt hillbilly cops are doing something. and hillbilly truckers are doing something else.It just was a spinoff to Smokey Bandit movies. But they had Burt and someother B movie actors. Nothing great. Chuck Norris looks and acts one dimensional, because he doesn't have a good script. If he had been in a moive like Forest Gump, Saving Private Ryan, Platoon, the Deerslayer, he never really did anything that would be considered for an Academy Award. The karate gets old after like 2 movies. I would not consider any movie Chuck made as an Academy Award performance

This was his first leading role. Chuck Norris might not be the best actor, but he has a good personality and a natural charisma about him. That's usually enough for most of the action genre.

This movie is nothing remotely like Smokey and the Bandit! Plus, it came out 2 months earlier than S & B. The 70's were full of low budget action flicks about corruption. Vigilante Force, White Line Fever, Convoy to name a few. It was a common theme.

White Line Fever. Wow I forgot about that one. I watched it when it first came out. Great movie..
