Overrated Movie That Should've Been Parodied By Mystery Science Theater

I just don't understand why everyone acts like this movie is so great. It's not an awful movie but it's not this classic that stands the test of time. I think it'd be much more entertaining to watch if the Mystery Science Theater guys had covered it.

I think it's too gnarly for them to riff. I have only seen the last forty minutes of the movie and then one scene where the terrorist guy blows the old dude away in some sort of barn or hangar with his test bomb and boy was that unpleasant. I don't think the movie is ridiculous enough to riff.

It wasn't me who was murdered, was it?
