A ?? RE: The Robert Shaw character...

After Kabakov is injured by the 'exploding Clyde Kusatsu', he's in the hospital being interviewed by one of the Hospital 'Sisters' as he tots off his family history (Wife dead; sons dead; parents dead...); did I notice he had number 'tattoos' on his arm?

Why can't you wretched prey creatures understand that the Universe doesn't owe you anything!?

Yes, that is correct. This shows us that he is a Holocaust survivor. The Nazis notoriously tattooed their Jewish captives with prisoner numbers when they arrived at the extermination camps.

Thanks; I thought that's what they were but I wanted to be sure that he didn't have just one more thing in his dreadful personal history.
