Running Time?
The running time I've seen listed everywhere for this film is 2 hours and 35 minutes yet the version released on DVD is almost an hour shorter. What gives with the chopped down time and does the full version still exist?
shareI wish it did. I saw the longer version in a preview in Oakbrook, Illinois. I thought it was a passable remake of the Jimmy Stewart film, and found that the Billy Jack character was a better stand-in for Mr. Smith then I thought he would be. When I saw this shorter version on DVD, I was extremely disappointed. They pretty much cut the guts out of the film.
