What extras are on the two disc version?

I've read a fair bit about this film and I would really like to buy a copy. Now I understand that there is a special two disc version on the market, which is more expensive than the normal single disc, but everyone who's mentioned it says that the second disc has nothing on it. I have tried looking for a list of the special features, but can't find one. If anyone has the two disc version could you please list the special features, and could you tell me if it is in fact worth buying, or if I'm better off with the single disc. Cheers.

These are the features on the UK 2-disc ILC release (which includes 8 poster postcards)......

Disc 1: Film & original U.S trailer
Disc 2: 40 minute documentary/interview with Harry Novak (mainly footage from his films) & 26 minute Directors Showreel (10 trailers inc "Axe" again)

Hardly worth the bother. No reason why they couldn't have fitted it all onto 1 disc (the film itself is barely over an hour long). Stick with the single disc.

thank god you said that mate, i just bought the single disc from the usa and when i heard there was a two disc one i nearly cried.

$50 (auz), was worth it, i liked the flick.

I've noticed this on several 2-disc sets, features on the second disc could easily have fit on one disc, but I guess it's a gimmick. I have the 2-disc set for Bad Taste and they could have easily fit it all on one.

Are the postcards form AXE? Can you load the pictures anywhere for us to see? My dad was LOMAX, and I never got to see the postcards.

The postcards are basically mini reproductions of posters from random films from other Harry Novak productions, including one of the Axe poster. There's about 6 in total if I remember correctly.

What a shame to make this sound like such a special deal. I would only want the index of THE AXE since my dad was in it. Burt I'll stick to my single disk. Thanks for the information.

I don't have a scanner unfortunately but the postcards (8 in total) in the UK 2-disc set are repros of the following Something Weird video covers......

Axe
The Child
Hitch Hike To Hell/Kidnapped Coed
I Drink Your Blood/I Eat Your Skin
Kiss Me Quick/House On Bare Mountain
Mantis In Lace
A Scream In The Streets
The Toy Box/Toys Are Not For Children

Your best bet is the 1-disc version from Something Weird Video. Whilst it doesn't have the interview or the postcards from the 2-disc version it does have the trailers, two short films and an additional full length feature directed by one of the actors.
