any ideas why they killed the gay dude(s)?

they knew him, targeted him.
but what was their beef with Aubrey?
they didn't seem to want his money or car.
I loved this movie. it was violent and creepy.
the mundane chatter of daytime tv playing in the background.
the ketchup and the tomato soup were artful touches.
the improv jazz for the action scenes was nice too.
I sort of pictured the main hood as having been a street hustler before he went in.
maybe Aubrey was the trick what fingered him?
