THINGS I LEARNED FROM READING/WATCHING AUDREY ROSE

1.Rather than simply rent an apartment in the building and watch the templeton couple from under cover as a neighbour (after all then, Hoover could have watched them all day long, built up a casual friendship with Bill and Janice and seen Ivy all he wanted), the first thing a well organized, highly intelligent man would do is simply to contact the people and tell them that their daughter is the reincarnation of his daughter and then expect them to allow him to babysit their child now and again! (in the seven years he spent planning his venture thats the best he could come up with?? My 11 year old nephew could have made a better plan!!!) 2. Anyone could start to have horrible nightmares and go into weird, suicidal trance like states because of what happened in one of our past lives. 3. A man charged with kidnapping a young girl could get off if he can prove the girl was his in a past life (in reality Hoover never would have been put on trial at all. He would be charged with kidnapping and sentenced by the judge a day or so later!). 4. janice templeton must have realized after awhile that she married a total ass! (in the book, there's a scene where Bill is shown secret medical documents in which he learns that a psychiatrist treated Ivy at the age of two for having nightmares about being in a burning car!! and that was years before they ever met Hoover. and yet Bill still refuses to believe anything is going on (he even witnesses Ivy burning her hands against a cold window!!! he only believes Ivy is really audrey Rose in the very last scene of the book This guy must have an I.Q. of about eight. 5. In the book, janice tells Bill that they have no money for Hoover to take (when Bill suggests that Hoover might be a gold digger), so ok so we learn that in New York a couple with no money can rent an expensive, luxury, like 800,000 dollar a month rent apartment (I know thats how much the Des Artistes is worth! But hey don't forget a struggling actor was able to rent an expensive place like the Bramford, when he barely makes ends meet so yeah.....)6. A lawyer in New York is unable to think of an insanity plea for his client (judging by Hoover's behaviour that probably wouldn't be far from the truth anyway!). 7. and finally it's very dangerous to undergo any kind of hypnosis experiment because you could end up getting killed in the process!
