Nicolas Smith (Mr. Rumbold) last of the original cast passes away

Sad day today for all "Are You Being Served?" fans as the last remaining original main cast member Nicholas Smith (Mr. Rumbold) passes away aged 81. May he rest peacefully... and thanks to him and all the wonderful now gone for all of the so many laughs and happy memories.

Re-watching the original series over the last few weeks made me feel quite sad to think that all of the leading cast members have since passed on, i know we are talking 30 years since it ended but even so, i just find it poignant and very touching to watch now. Love it. I hope someone is looking after Mrs Slocombes' pussy!
