The film had one or two good 'schocks'

I justed watched this film and even though I thought the film was so so compared to Bava's Black Sunday that I watched a month or 2 ago. it did have a couple of good shock moments......

<<<<<spoilers>>>>>

When the mother is lying in bed and there is a brief few second shot of her decaying husband on top of her.

And then when the mother is in the hall way and calls to her son, Marco who runs towards her then her dead husband jumps up at her.

I wouldn't rate it 9/10 that some of the other users have in the review section but it is okay but I was expecting more.

I give Schock 6/10.

That shot in the corridor is awesome - seemless. A great 'schock' indeed.

For the longest time I couldn't remember the name of this movie.
But that scene was freaky.

The hallway scene was my favorite but the scariest thing in the movie had to have been Bruno's bare ass.

it had about the same feel that Black Sunday had but not as good

Yeah that was a great jump moment. I wasn't expecting it at all.

Not one of the director's best films, but still decent enough, with lots of clever camerawork.

I have only seen a handful of Mario Bava's films (about 4 or 5 I think), and out of the ones I've seen this is actually my favorite.
