It seems like there was a trend in the 70s to make horror movies with an Italian cast and crew and then dub it into English. It reminded me of the spaghetti western genre, so is this movie and others from the time called spaghetti thrillers?

Yes, I'd call it a straightforward supernatural horror movie. The dubbing seems to have bothered the original poster but I didn't mind it at all. I thought nothing of it.

shareThis is pure Italian but that’s a serious plus in my book. Shock is a great supernatural horror film with a great cast. As with the genre, it’s a slow burn but quite rewarding.
