Agnetha's butt revolution
In this movie, intended as a vehicle for ABBA's worldwide exposures, there is a very interesting political tension that makes it utterly fascinating.
In one had ABBA were (or where intnded to be or to appear, or to be sold as) a symbol of parent-friendly, clean, conservative, system-supporting pop, as we can tell from most of the street interviews in the movie. But in the other hand there is Agnetha's butt allways there, as a big white sun, threating this neat and chaste image with it's shadow of big SEX. We can see Agnetha's butt being litteraly exploited in the shows, scandalizing audiences, monopilizing press atention, really bothering Anni-Frid as we can see in a wonderful sequence...
I didn't know Agnetha's butt was such a big issue in these days. Abd I didn't know ABBA could really f#@-* rock on stage that way: all the live sequences (and specially the "get on the carousel" one) are really worth to see by any rock fan. They could have been intended to be a mild pop act, but they were amazing musicians who had nothing to envy the best rock bands of the periods, including the pistols.
