to samluvduff - great to see someone of the younger generation appreciate the beauty of Agnetha. I was 16 at the time of the concerts in Melbourne Australia (I went to all three performances) and I was and still am in love with Agnetha (she's 57 now and still a very beautiful woman). I got her autograph in the lobby of the Old Melbourne Hotel (where the group stayed) but my buddy went one better and got to kiss her on the cheek. I tried to do the same after him but the bodyguards whisked her into the elevator. Agnetha was so lovely and gracious and when my buddy asked if he could kiss her she said "Yes of course" and offered him her lips - but he kissed her on the cheek! I guess he was shy of this very mature, experienced and lovely Swedish woman. But he got to kiss her!!

Yeah, I am very lucky. But if you want to read a great story about a guy meeting Agnetha, go to the agnethaforever web site and look for the story about the guy who waited with a girlfriend outside Agnetha's Swedish estate around about the time she was 40. Eventually, Agnetha drove up in a car and he wound up talking to her for ages. And he did it every year after that and they became acquainted. She sounds so great in that story. Friendly and approachable and he tells it really well. To find it, once you get to the agnetha forever site, select the English version then go to the gallery. Scroll down the photos to No. 27 where you'll see a link to "andy's abba images" follow that link then click on the "Meeting Agnetha" button. And there's the story! BTW - there were more than three concerts in Australia. I went to all three of the Melbourne concerts, but Abba also did concerts in Sydney, Adelaide and a few other cities. But yes, the Abba movie was filmed throughout Abba's Australian tour. But even though I was in the crowd at the Melbourne concerts, I cannot see myself in the film. But I'm there somewhere!
Benny's the one I watch most. His talent is amazing. I've never seen another musician who can do what he does on the piano. It's nice to see that he plays the guitar and accordion, too.

shareLike most people Agnetha is my favourite, but I have just finished watching the film again and I have to say Frida is not too shabby in looks dept.
I think Agnetha gives out a look of vulnerability and innocence it appeals to men as their natural instinct is to want to protect. Frida on the other hand looks stronger and more independent.
Frida. I like Agnetha too. Dark haired women are much sexier. Ag seems like a really nice lady. I think intense fame scarred her.

As a 5 year old boy from a country that doesn't speak english we used satellite dish for foreign tv entertainment during mid 80's.
And boy seeing Agnetha wearing those red super short shorts in Ring Ring video clip for God knows how many times during chilhood sure left a lasting impression.
Probably my subconscious definition of a good looking Scandinavian blonde (or any other blonde) was formed during that period. And I am forever grateful
