DVD?

My favorite of Fulci's thrillers next to "Lizard in a Woman's Skin" and "Don't Torture a Duckling."

Eventually either Shriek Show, Blue Underground, or Anchor Bay will pick it up. If anyone has any info.

Or, if you're willing to buy a bootleg, you'd be better off to just download it through a torrent: http://torrents.thepiratebay.org/3668682/The_GIALLO_Collection__Seven_Notes_In_Black.3668682.TPB.torrent

Mmmm... again, if you download the torrent, it actually has the cover art (which can easily be printed off and put into a DVD case), and if you want to get really fancy, it even has a cd label.

Basically, I found bootlegs disgusting, especially in this digital age. They're pointless. The money SHOULD be going to those who made the film, not some jerk-off who managed to get a decent copy of the film. Said jerk-off shouldn't be making money off of someone else's hard work, it really is just disgraceful... and basically pointless... anyone can download a perfect rip (sometimes a whole DVD rip) of a movie and easily put it off on DVD, and if they have a decent printer even make their own case, basically you're getting the exact same thing for ridiculously cheaper.

Downloading is one thing... not that it's a good thing (because stealing someone's work isn't very polite), but at least it's understandable: You just can't afford to spend the money to buy these amazing movies. But stealing someone else's hard work and trying to turn a profit is just wrong, especially since you're ripping people off... 15$ for something that's not even yours and costs less than a dollar to manufacture... tisk tisk.

PS: The torrent I showed there is a complete rip of this exact DVD. Special Features, cover art, and DVD art included.

People need to find a less dirtbag way of making money.

when the product is properly released, the artist gets royalties, while with you they don't get a damned thing... you just make a ridiculous amount of money over charging people. 15 dollars for a DVD-R? Seriously? That in itself is something to scoff at.

And seriously, what are you, like one of three people in the world whose computer is too slow to downnload? Obviously not, you're just trying to make excuses for making money off of someone else's hard work.

It's lame.

@ dramatichorror: while I agree generally with what you are saying, your last post does not make sense. Firstly, some of us do not have great computers. Secondly, how could he use this as an excuse to MAKE money off of the movie when he is the one purchasing it, not selling it?

Guy was quite obviously the one selling them, he was posing himself as someone purchasing...

you don't even need a good computer to download.
I used to download, rip and watch DVD rips on my AMD K6-2 with 128MB SDRAM
6 GB HDD, 32MB ATI Rage 128, Win98, 4x CD-RW. seriously

oh and dial-up.
download the movie.

I just bought the new Severin DVD and oh how conned I feel. This movie put me to sleep, the picture quality is awful the price of the DVD is nothing short of a rip-off and after all the IMDB hype for this movie I feel utterly cheated of time and money. Unlike every other Fulchi movie I have in my DVD collection this is one I will never watch again.
