Interpretations?

I'm very surprised to find so many threads here, and many comments like "oh, it's a dream, make your own interpretation" etc etc....Because I feel that, just beyond my grasp, after my first viewing of this excellent film, there is an OBVIOUS explanation.

Don't get me wrong - I love challenging films which end openly, and don't spoonfeed. But, with 3 Women, I feel there is a logical, simple explanation here.

Do all 3 women really exist? :)

Yes, the "3 women" really exist.

And I think in the end, they kill that man. Which also proves that this film is mostly about "female empowerment."

Last Films seen:
3 Women(1977)- 10/10
Eraserhead(1977)- 9/10

i think the ending suggests that that's the real scenario. edgar is the father. millie, the mother. pinky, the daughter. willie, the granny. edgar was molesting pinky. millie kills him.
the whole dream thing, i think that was pinky's way of dealing with things.
oh god, this film is a cypher.

i walked in beauty too, till i met you
