Millie: Shelly Duvall's Best?

Am I alone in thinking this is one of the best performances by any actor? It is rare that a character can succeed in being both enigmatic and sympathetic, but Duvall pulls off this delicate trick. Millie may be one of the most decent characters in American film -- someone who never gives up trying to find dignity in her loneliness. A truly moving and Oscar-worthy effort.
