I remember that this mini-series had, besides good acting and a great story, a really beautiful march-like theme song that played throughout the show. Does anyone know if this was ever recorded? I'd really like to get a copy of it if I could.

Yes a soundtrack was released. It's currently available at Ebay.

Not only do I still have the LP of the soundtrack but I also have a marching band record that has the main theme as well as a tune from the show called Garden Party.

"You know me Marge, I like my beer cold, my TV loud, and my homosexuals fa-LAM-ing!"
