I'm awaiting an episode

...from '84, called 'Bird of Prey,' starring Frank Converse. It's about a couple whose pet parrot is raped in the night (yes, raped - I know it's absurd ) and dies laying an enormous egg. From the egg hatches an fearsome, evil, black macaw, which, in the episode's denouement, tells Converse that his pregnant wife has been sleeping with his best friend. He shoots them both, then faces the hideous bird, which casually reaches down and removes its leg chain with its beak. The episode leaves one with the distinct impression that the bird wins.

Bird speaking: "What about Jack? He's a fool... he'll think the child is his. Gee, you've got shifty eyes... AAACCCKK!"

This episode is not listed with any of the first three sets.

Wow! hahaha, it sounds hilarious! :D

It's in series 7, which I haven't seen yet. I'm expecting DVD Set 4 to be the final release, so it should be in that. Going by previous release dates, I'd expect it to be out by the summer.

That said, there've been a few episodes missing here and there over the DVDs, but I hope it's on!

You know something? I was thinking about this very thing today! It’s funny how the mind works & how anything but anything can pop in there for whatever reason but yeah man I was thinking about this episode just now.

DEFINITELY remembered the “Gee you got shifty eyes!” Part & basically the gist of the episode including the “rape” part. Was laughing to myself thinking the same thing you were thinking but for lack of a better word that’s what it was.

What I wasn’t sure about was if he killed the other guy or not. From what I remember he killed himself which you neglected to mention & at the end the bird flew down to the floor where his body was & gazed at his face & said “Gee you got shifty eyes”. Which was the “ironic” moment of the episode.

You know because he was trying to teach him how to say it & at the end the bird says it over the guys dead body.

Here I was thinking “Man I remember this but I have no idea where it came from”. No sooner than I search Google using “Bird says Gee you got shifty eyes” then your old Moviechat post was it brings up in the search results. Well thank you for saving me the trouble bro. I’ll be sure to look for this now online. Peace!
