Most of Roald Dah's TOTU stories were poor

I watched them back then, but now, having box set DVDs, I think most of the ones he wrote were very bad.

With the endings I'm thinking, 'so what??'

I differ. They were the best. Try reading the books. They are even better.

Yes, think most are pretty bad. This show used to be on when I was kid and I have just started revisiting the episodes (half way through series two), the only one I thought was good and creepy was The Landlady, so of them are terrible.
