Did the cast members of both programs made guest appearances on each other's programs and vise verca?

While I'm at did any country music stars of the day during the show's run make guest appearances?

I don't think that any cm stars made any appearances on Sha Na Na. Or vice versa.

Just yesterday I saw a Smothers Brothers Show from January 1975, in which Sha Na Na appeared in a parody of Hee Haw. The SNN guys wore farm overalls and sang backup on a song called "Are You in the Top 40 of the Lordy Lordy Lordy?" The sketch also had Kate Smith as Minnie Pearl and Paul Lynde imitating Johnny Cash. (!)

Barbara Mandrell, Conway Twitty & Dottie West had guest starred on Sha Na Na . at different times. And Bowzer had guest starred on Barbara Mandrell & the Mandrell Sisters.
