Is The Grapes of Mud on any of the dvd's? I have rented The Best of the Early years from Netflix, but it starts at 1978. I would appreciate any help. It is my favorite sketch, and I can't even find it on You Tube.

The sketch was repeated in season 4 but was originally from season 1.

There was a sketch on one of the old old National Lampoon vinyl records called "The Hillbillies" which had Joe Flaherty doing his Gregory Peck impersonation years before SCTV (I think) and it had some people like Gilda Radner playing the old granny part and it wasn't so much a take off on "Grapes of Wrath" as an immigration thing with hillbillies coming from all over Europe to America but they had the old grand pa talking about wearing chicken fried steaks on his head like a hat.

wish I still had that record but it's been lost somewhere along the way.

Maybe they have it on YouTube?

Yeah, it was on the 'Muley's Roadhouse' episode.

I really was sad when Harold Ramis left after one season.

Well, I can start ya at 25 cents an hour, but then it goes to 15 cents an hour, then you have to pay me.
