Anyone interested in a forum?

Would anyone be interested in a forum of the professionals if one was set up?

that would be fab if we could get lots of people interested.

That's the hard part getting alot of people interested. If we had heaps of people then we could have an active forum.

A forum would be a good idea, then we could find out any news and upcoming projects in one place. I'm sure people would start posting when they start showing episodes of our 'lads' again.

Count me in but as Gurgi said, there's probably not a lot of fans 'out there' in the world who would be aware of this discussion board.
Ellebee - you've probably seen this website.....

It's good to see that some peeps out there are interested in the boys and their escapades. I am an (almost) 30 year veteran of the series, having seen them originally on LWT back in the day. At the mo, I'm watching Everest Was Also Conquered on DVD, it's not one of the better eps. My personal faves have to be Blind Run and Hunter/Hunted for their all-out action. I bought all the series after being frustrated at the obviously hacked-up showings on UK satellite. So I'm quite pissed to read here, that an ep on series 3 has been edited, especially as the DVD box boastes that they are uncut episodes.

On a more technical/anorachy note, it is also a shame that they didn't include the original break bumpers on the DVD. They were shown during the reruns on satellite.

Does anyone know of any easter eggs on the discs?

The more that can be put on here or on the net as a whole about the Pro's the better.
Whilst I repsect Martin Shaw as an actor, I cannot help but wonder why he dismisses the series that made mim a household name. Yes he made some excellent television before the Pro's, but would he have been cast in The last Place on Earth, his first real role after the Pro's, had it not been for his bankability as a result the Pro's?
As for Lewis Collins, yes I agree, where the hell is he. According to some sources he is in the states and about to break into directing. It will be interesting to see. He would have made an excellent Bond, but he failed to impress Cubby Broccoli. But lets face it, Broccoli lost my respect when he cast poncy Timothy Dalton as Bond. Has Barbara made the same mistake with Danny Craig? I think so.
Lewis should have reappeared in the rather poor New Professionals instead of Woodward, but again it was down to negotiations falling apart that he did not. Would Bodie at the head of CI5 not been a great link to the original series?
I believe that the cut to the DVD episode is due to technical rather than any other reasons. There is a panchant on the part of DVD producers to make the content too perfect and I think a few bad frames resulted in 3 seconds being cut. I would not lose any sleep over three seconds out of well over fifty hours of television.
As for favourite episodes, there are four for me, all from series four (or five if you are american) they are (in no particular order) Foxhole on the Roof, A Man Called Quinn, Discovered in a Graveyard and Lawson'e Last Stand.
