I am totally unfamiliar with Poldark, the books or the show. So sorry for the dumb question. I have always been a fan of period/costume dramas. But I don't like just a soap opera. How do you rank this show from 1 to 10 when 1 is pure soap and 10 being action/adventure like "The Three Musketeers?" (Drama, mystery, and intrigue fall in the steps between 1 and 10.)

To be fair, the series is a 5, but the books are an 8, at least.

Put puppy mills out of business: never buy dogs from pet shops!
