I seriously doubt it will ever be released on dvd. It's still available from collectors.

There are just some tv series that will never make it to DVD due to cost or lack of demand, this may be one of them.

The show was extremely popular in Australia. You might look at some Australian DVD sites -There's a good chance it will be released there. Then, all you'll need is lots of money and a multiregion DVD player. ;)

As indicated below, you can see clips on YouTube, including interviews with Patrick Duffy, at that time, which are really interesting. There are websites offering copies, which can be located via a web search. I've recently acquired the full 17 episodes, via e-bay, and being able to check out the traders feedback history; and customers responses who'd also acquired copies of the Man from Atlantis, tipped the scales for me - enough to take a chance. It seems that tv programmes prior to '79 are outside the copyright problem, and although quality isn't, as was indicated of current dvd quality, it's been fanastic to be able to watch the series again.
To be honest, and I hate to say so, but I don't think The Man from Atlantis will ever make it to commercial availability, purely because the series is incomplete - no conclusion. =o(
