'Hawk of Mu'

This series came on when I was a toddler, but I have distinct memories of a statue of a hawk that became a live hawk in one episode. I am guessing the episode was "Hawk of Mu", but the episode summary I looked up on line didn't mention the thing coming to life. Did I just imagine the whole thing?

The hawk did indeed come to life and attacked the Man From Atlantis.

Yes. And, like much that has happened thus far in the series, none of it made much sense.
