Sad news that star Dan Haggerty has died at the age of 74 from cancer.

This remains one of my favorite series, and its love of nature and animals🐻 has inspired me personally. A shame wholesome TV like this doesn't get made any more...

The complete TV series is available on DVD at least, and can be enjoyed by all fans(and hopefully some new ones).

God speed Mr. Dan Haggerty.

Deeply saddened to hear about this man leaving the world. Loved thus show as a kid. He went through the door into the other land.

Such a shame, great series, the theme song stays with me still and is always emotive.
