Waterloo Road is edgier and better

Grange Hill is too old-fashioned, and aside from the whole Zammo drugs saga, never really hit the same highs again, although I was impressed that the GH cast met the US President at the White House!

I personally prefer Waterloo Road, at least the earlier seasons, as it was not aimed specifically for children (CBBC) but was mainstream primetime, and had darker plotlines including knives and guns among other dangers, and it was more 21st century, rather than the older Grange Hill that was predominantly 1980s. And I just loved the colours of the WR uniforms and ties, reminds me of Gryffindor in Harry Potter, to be honest.
