GRANGE HILL USED TO BE FUNNY AND GOOD TO WATCH

The end happened when they changed the intro and the music.

In fact I think its safe to say the show's quality diluted with numerous ill judged changes and trendy initiatives.

It lost its 'Gregory's Girl' edge and replaced it with Hammy Brit School nonsense.

When the music changed it lost the proverbial plot.

The 'French Episode' was genius.

In fact Danny Kendall for me was the cancerous mole that set the pace. Bad acting, bizarre concept, large head.

I lament the absence of edgy young peoples programs.

I feel sorry for young people with their computer rendered cartoons.

I found Danny Kendall really annoying and that's probably why I stopped watching it. I'm now watching them all again on YouTube and have got to Series 9. He's worse than I remember him. He really spoils the programme.

I kinda remember seeing a computer like beginning but I was a bit old for it.

I stopped watching it about when I was 14 (1990) mainly because it had gone through too many changes too quickly. Though I did watch the first episode (when Phil Redmond took back creative control) of the relocated show out because I was curious and found it to be terrible. I was surprised it lasted as long as it did.
